Welcome to Domus Nostra Hostel. We also welcome foreign students on the Erasmus or other programs.
Here is some general information about us:
Domus Nostra is a hostel (‘female’ only) for university students, located in Lisbon University Campus. It has a long life experience in this field, from the date of its establishment, in 1965. This house belongs to the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, a Catholic Congregation. We offer a human place where you are most welcome to help us create an environment of:
– study ambiance
– friendship and respect
– openness to cultural differences
– service and mutual help
– simple lifestyle
For those who may wish it, we also propose moments of reflection and the sharing christian faith. We also welcome people from every religion and faith.
Every year we are 79 students. We have single and triple rooms. All rooms have a desk, bookshelf, closet, sink and bidet. Each floor has a common (single) shower and toilet.
Services included:
– breakfast and dinner (from Monday to Friday, except holidays);
– access to: garden, library (with more than 6.000 volumes), studding rooms, chapel, piano, tv room, panoramic terrace… ;
– access to coffee and snacks vending machines;
– cleaning equipment for room maintenance.

Schedule:
We close at 22h00. On special occasions, there’s an electronic card available.
– from 15th september until 31st of july.
We close on Christmas holidays, Easter holidays and Summer holidays – from the 31st july until the 2nd week of september. During such periods we are closed for general cleaning and maintenance, so no student may stay at Domus Nostra.
